Maple House Rehabilitation Unit is a community based, purpose-built, independent rehabilitation service for men with complex mental health needs including acquired brain injury. Situated in the heart of Warrington it has excellent transport links and access to local services. It is a 21-bed inpatient service that sits between secure and open rehabilitation services. It is registered with CQC as a hospital.

Maple House offers an effective alternative to higher levels of secure care and aims to make a positive difference in the lives of all those it supports. With an individualised, person centred approach, the holistic rehabilitation programme can be tailored to meet individual needs. Where appropriate and agreed, a managed individualised pathway to our affiliate supported living service can also be provided.

Our goal is to enable each of the men in our care to achieve meaningful and sustainable recovery and fulfil his individual potential to the maximum extent. We help them make positive change in their lives and to gain greater independence, long-term mental wellbeing and successful reintegration into their community at their earliest opportunity.

DRAPER HOUSE

Specialist rehabilitation service for women with complex mental health needs.

Draper House a community facing, purpose-built independent rehabilitation service situated in St Helen’s. This 15-bed hospital provides rehabilitation for women with complex mental health needs including personality disorder. Our service aims to provide specialist assessment, treatment, interventions and support to enable the recovery of those patients whose complex needs cannot be met by general adult mental health services. Our care delivers patient-focused and contextual evidence-based care which is adapted to each individual and their needs. The service ethos embraces recovery principles, our Hope Model of Rehabilitation and the intervention toolkit which promote and enable the rehabilitation pathway safely within a locked environment.

Pine House Rehabilitation Unit

Specialist rehabilitation service for men with complex mental health needs.

Pine House is a 20-bed inpatient rehabilitation service that provides high quality, holistic, person-centred rehabilitative care and specialised treatment for men with complex mental health needs due to mental illness and/or acquired brain injury.

Maximising recovery

Our service is designed to support those with mental illness or acquired brain injury to maximise recovery, working collaboratively to support them to achieve their goals.

We take a holistic approach to rehabilitation focusing on maximizing potential and promoting independence.

Effective therapeutic frameworks

The services therapeutic milieu aligns the rehabilitation and treatment process to work in parallel and incorporates principles of good practice, an overarching psychological framework, therapeutic (functional) activities, therapeutic interventions and specialised treatment. Our Psychosocial interventions follow a Stress Vulnerability Model that will contribute to patient recovery.
